Norton Rose Fulbright advises Redsky Homes on planning permission for development in Slough

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Redsky Homes on planning permission for a 51-unit residential scheme located in Slough, England.

The premier London-based property company, Redsky Homes, specialises in the construction of high-quality multi-storey apartments and houses for rent.

Planning permission was originally granted for 41 units, but a retrospective application for a revised 51-unit scheme was subsequently refused by the local council. Norton Rose Fulbright's planning team assisted Redsky Homes on the appeal, strategy and management of the appeal hearing which was conducted over two days in November 2025.

The firm was successful on all grounds and Redsky Homes has been granted permission for its 51-unit development.

Norton Rose Fulbright's team was led by Sarah Fitzpatrick, Head of Planning UK, who was supported by counsel Rory Bennett.

Sarah Fitzpatrick commented:

"Securing planning permission for this scheme presented a particularly complex set of challenges, given the retrospective nature of the application and the risk of enforcement action. We are thrilled to have achieved a positive outcome for our client, which is testament to the knowledge and dedication of our planning team. Delivering certainty for Redsky Homes in such a nuanced planning landscape is precisely what makes this work so rewarding."
