WWU Give Day Ambassador for the Community Service Center: April 1-10

WWU Give Day is Western's biggest fundraising event of the year. On Give Day, donations to participating campus programs are matched more than on any other day. This year's Give Day falls on April 8, but early giving opens April 1 and giving continues until April 10.

The Community Service Center (CSC) is participating in Give Day this year because we hope to raise funds to support our two annual Days of Service, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day in January and Earth Week in April. On these Days of Service, we provide community
service projects for Western students and community members. We rely on grants to hold our Day of Service events, and are raising money in order to supplement these grants or replace them in case grants are no longer available. Our goal is to raise $8,000 to support our efforts for the 2026-2027 academic year.

To help us raise money on Give Day, the CSC is looking for people to volunteer as Give Day Ambassadors. Give Day Ambassadors will share information about the CSC by email and on social media with people they know to help spread awareness of our needs and encourage them to donate. The 10 ambassadors who raise the most funds will receive a gift card to a local business. For more information and to sign up as a Give Day Ambassador, contact Nico Wilkerson at [email protected].
