PayPal Celebrates its 2025 Community Impact Grant Recipients

At PayPal, our commitment to supporting local communities grows each year through our annual Community Impact Grants Program. More than a funding initiative, this program is designed to foster long-term collaborations that empower local nonprofits to expand economic opportunities and help communities thrive.

The 2025 Community Impact Grant program awarded more than $1M in total funding to 60 nonprofits across communities around the globe where PayPal sites are located. This year's grant program emphasizes extending and deepening our existing nonprofit relationships, ensuring that organizations with demonstrated impact have the continued support they need to scale their work. Nearly 70% of our 2025 grantees are returning collaborators, reflecting the meaningful and lasting relationships our Community Impact teams have built - and our shared commitment to advancing this work even further in 2026.

These organizations play a critical role in strengthening community resilience and expanding economic opportunities in the regions where our employees live and work. As we look ahead to the new year, we're excited to continuing our work with these nonprofits as PayPal employees contribute volunteer hours to help create even greater community impact. Together, we're expanding access to the tools, resources, and opportunities that help entrepreneurs, small businesses, and underserved communities grow and thrive in the digital economy.

Read on to learn how a few of this year's grantees will help expand economic opportunity across our communities in the coming year.

Y.R. Gaitonde Medical, Educational and Research Foundation - Chennai, India

The Y.R. Gaitonde Medical, Educational and Research Foundation, a public health and community development organization with a long-standing presence across India, is dedicated to strengthening healthcare access, community wellness, and social equity.

In 2026, the organization's NIMIR (Nurturing Inclusion, Mettle, Identity and Resilience) skilling initiative will use the PayPal Impact Grant funds to establish a comprehensive women's skills development and entrepreneurship program reaching 120 women. The initiative will provide hands-on training in essential entrepreneurial competencies, including culinary arts, product development, packaging, and marketing. Participants will also receive inpidualized income and family data assessments to identify viable pathways for economic advancement and potential job placements. By equipping women with both technical expertise and strong business acumen, the program aims to enhance income-generating capacity and create sustainable livelihood opportunities for women and their families.

Fondazione Pino Cova - Milan, Italy

Fondazione Pino Cova is committed to promoting social and professional inclusion for people with disabilities, ensuring that everyone can fully realize their potential. PayPal's support will help strengthen and expand the Foundation's projects, which foster employment opportunities for inpiduals with disabilities and mental health challenges within welcoming environments guided by highly specialized staff. The funding will also enable the Foundation to broaden and consolidate its network of partner companies, opening the door to an increasing number of inclusive job opportunities and working to ensure that no one is left behind.

New York Professional Advisors for Community Entrepreneurs (NYPACE) - New York, U.S.

NYPACE supports established small businesses that are ready for growth. Their programs build on the investments entrepreneurs have already made, helping them elevate their businesses to drive increased revenue and job creation. Funding from PayPal will support NYPACE's Day of Service Program and its 2026 Small Business Impact Forum. The Day of Service Program matches pro bono advisors with underserved entrepreneurs seeking to expand their businesses, while the Small Business Impact Forum brings together local entrepreneurs, community partners, funders, and experts to foster strong connections and meaningful exchanges of ideas and resources. Through this partnership, PayPal helps unlock new opportunities for small business owners, strengthening local economies and advancing long-term, inclusive growth.

Congratulations to all our 2025 Community Impact Grant recipients! We look forward to supporting their work through the time and expertise of our employees in the year ahead.
