Bright blooms, creative displays, and gardening inspiration await visitors at the annual Noelridge Greenhouse Easter Showcase, taking place Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 4900 Council Street NE. Admission is free, and visitors of all ages are welcome to explore the greenhouse and celebrate the arrival of spring.
The Noelridge Greenhouse Easter Showcase opens the doors to one of Cedar Rapids' most beloved and unique spaces, inviting visitors to step inside and experience the greenhouse in full spring color. Guests can wander among tropical plants, enjoy vibrant seasonal displays, and discover the space where many of the plants used throughout Cedar Rapids parks begin their journey.
Event highlights include a free pansy plant giveaway for children while supplies last and more than 100 handcrafted fairy gardens available for purchase from Friends of Noelridge. Proceeds from fairy garden sales support improvements at the greenhouse, including projects such as murals and the children's garden.
Visitors can also connect with local gardening enthusiasts and explore a variety of nature-inspired items. The Midwest Garden Gal will be available Saturday, offering gardening books and helpful resources for gardeners of all experience levels.
