Bank of Hawai'i to Temporarily Close Branches and Offices on Kaua'i Due to Hurricane Lowell

HONOLULU

September 7th, 2026

Due to Hurricane Lowell, Bank of Hawai'i will temporarily close all branch operations and offices on Kaua'i tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 8, and will remain closed until further notice.

Bank of Hawai'i will continue to assess the status of its branch and office network and will update the public on branch and office closures and reopenings as the storm continues on its path.

Bank of Hawai'i's Contact Center operations remain open to assist customers and can be reached at (808) 643-3888. Online and mobile banking and ATM services will continue to operate unless power interruptions are experienced.

Bank of Hawai'i will also place public updates on all of its social media platforms (Facebook: www.facebook.com/bankofhawaii, Instagram: www.instagram.com/bankofhawaii and X (formerly Twitter: www.twitter.com/bankofhawaii), as well as its website: www.boh.com.
