Chinese Consul General in Mumbai Qin Jie Visits The Times of India’s Bangalore Office

On October 17, Consul General Qin Jie visited The Times of India's Bangalore office and exchanged views with its editor Asha Rai.

Consul General Qin said that as one of the most important newspapers in India, The Times of India has rich experience and advantages in news dissemination. He expressed his hope that the newspaper would further expand its coverage of China-India mutually beneficial friendship as well as China's economic and technological development, and enhance cooperation with Chinese media. He highlighted China's important experience in poverty alleviation and the core tenets of the Global Governance Initiative. He also had in-depth exchanges with Asha and her team on the transformation of traditional print media, the impact of AI applications, and the trade war launched by the United States.
