Kudos Across America – Orange County, California

Editor's Note: During the past Christmas season, numerous passenger comments were provided about the TSA interactions at John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Orange County, California. Here are just a few:

  • My husband and I have TSA PreCheck®. We went through the PreCheck line which had hardly anyone inline. The other line was endless down the hallway. The PreCheck agents were professional, pleasant, efficient and got us thru very quickly. Gave full instructions on which way to go after our photo was taken. The TSA officers in the security X-ray line were also fantastic. Pleasant and professional.
  • There were many agents, seemed like too many but this will be a busy Christmas travel days so I'm sure TSA is very well staffed in preparation for crowds.
  • Checkpoint A, friendly and cheerful staff, great job! Happy holidays.
  • Wonderful service. Thank you. It really helped me a lot.
  • Went through security screening. Took off a jacket and went to put it back on and checked my pocket; where I thought I put my phone. My phone was not there! I immediately panicked. Did the kid behind me take it? My trip is spoiled. I am an idiot!

Went back to the TSA Officers. They were great! I insisted I checked everything. They said we will take care of you! They did. I wanted to run down and chase down that kid! They very politely and courteously assured me they could help.

They checked the bins. They X-rayed my hand luggage. They looked at the original screening and saw I put it in my pocket. It was in a pocket I didn't know I had. They saved my trip.

  • Courteous, professional and efficient.
