Visit Downtown Tyler for Hit the Bricks on July 12

Downtown Tyler celebrates Hit the Bricks on the second Saturday of every month. Follow Downtown Tyler on Facebook for updates and more information. See below for all activities happening in Downtown Tyler on July 12.

Activities

The Tyler Fine Art Gallery is now open on the square at 119 W. Ferguson St. Come by this Saturday, from 1 p.m. - 7 p.m., to discover a wide array of works made by some of East Texas' most acclaimed artists!

Gallery Main Street is hosting its new exhibit in collaboration with local artist group Tyler Arts Culture Collective, "The Places You'll Go." This exhibit is sponsored by Palette of Roses Art League, Rose City Art Gallery, Tyler Arts & Culture Collective, and Derrith & Bob Bondurant. This juried exhibition is an invitation to explore the journey in its full dimension, not only where we go, but who goes with us, who we meet along the way, and who we become in the process. The opening night reception is on July 11 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with live music. The art will be on display through September 7.

Rose City Farmers Market will host its opening weekend market from 8 a.m. to noon. Make plans to come out and stock up on your favorite items now. Remember, WIC and food stamps are accepted. Don't forget, most vendors allow you to order on their website or Facebook and pick up at the market, so you won't miss out on your favorites!

Andy's Frozen Custard will be launching three new tasty treats starting July 9; just in time for Hit the Bricks! Beat the heat by grabbing a Cherry Limeade Freeze, Peach Concrete, or Key Lime Pie Concrete!

The Tyler Public Library will host the East Texas Genealogy Society at 2 p.m. Membership is encouraged but not required to attend.

Also at the Tyler Public Library will be the Library Happy Hour! From 11:00am-12:00pm, the library will have goodie bags, activities, tours, prizes, and a raffle for a free one-year membership. Kona Ice will also be there and is donating 15% of all proceeds to the library.

The Goodman-LeGrand Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A $3 suggested donation per person is requested.

Heritage East at Culture ETX is open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., serving up delicious signature brunch dishes! Come in to find unique, mouth-watering items that will start your weekend off right!

Liberty Hall will be hosting the Sing-Along version of The Greatest Showman at 7 p.m. Come and enjoy this night of magic and dreams as we fill Liberty Hall with inspiring storytelling and music! Purchase tickets at LibertyTyler.com.

ETX Brewing Co. will be serving their brunch menu from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come on by for a delicious brunch spread!

ETX Brewing Co. will host Hannah Rose Music from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Rick's on the Square will host the Jukebox Heroes from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. This Dallas-based band is known for their cover performances, so be ready to sing along to some of your favorites!
