Telework flexibility

Updated telework guidance:

Many of you have expressed fear and safety concerns about going into the office during this period of unrest in Minnesota. MAPE leadership had informal discussions with Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB) about workplace protections and telework.

Employees can request flexibility due to reasons including your own safety, school closures or other circumstances beyond your control. Reach out to your supervisor and copy human resources (HR) requesting telework flexibility.

MMB advised HR directors to use flexibility within the telework policy. If you feel a supervisor's response is unreasonable, reach out to your MAPE steward and we will do our best to support you in this request.
