Norton Rose Fulbright supports mHUB’s Energy Tech Accelerator for compute-energy innovation

Norton Rose Fulbright is supporting mHUB's Energy Tech Accelerator, a program designed to advance startups developing technologies at the intersection of compute and energy. The accelerator focuses on solutions addressing the rapid growth in demand for energy driven by data centers, artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.

As the program's legal partner, Norton Rose Fulbright will provide participating startups with guidance on business formation, intellectual property protection and other key legal considerations essential to scaling technology ventures.

Launched by mHUB, a Chicago -based hard tech incubator, the program will bring together a global cohort of early-stage companies working on technologies advancing data center efficiency, grid and infrastructure resilience and sustainable energy systems. The program is sponsored by technology partners including Equinix Foundation, Generac, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Foundation, Marmon Holdings and Salesforce.

"The rapid growth of data centers, artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure is creating new demands on energy systems, and that is driving meaningful innovation," said Norton Rose Fulbright's Chicago office Partner-in-Charge Sameer Ghaznavi, who is leading this initiative together with Kevin Friedmann and John McBride. "We are excited to partner with mHUB to support startups developing these solutions and to provide guidance that helps position them for long-term growth."

The mHUB Energy Tech Accelerator will provide selected startups with investment, access to state-of-the-art prototyping labs and technical assistance, mentorship and connections to industry leaders and investors.

With a global platform and experience across energy, infrastructure and technology sectors, Norton Rose Fulbright supports companies driving innovation in digital infrastructure and energy solutions, helping them navigate complex legal, regulatory and cross-border challenges as they scale.
