Multiple Arrests Made Following ALE Investigation into Greensboro Businesses

The North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division (ALE) in partnership with the Greensboro Police Department (GPD) conducted search warrants in on September 5, 2026, following an investigation into illicit drug sales and criminal activity occurring at several locations in Greensboro.

ALE special agents launched the investigation in July after receiving complaints from the community and GPD about drug sales, gang activity, and other criminal activity occurring at Bar Latino, located at 316 West Meadowview Road in Greensboro and an illegal nightclub located at 3820 West Gate Blvd in Greensboro.

During the investigation undercover special agents purchased cocaine from several employees and patrons on multiple occasions from both businesses, while also purchasing alcohol from the illegal nightclub.

ALE and GPD conducted search warrants at the following locations, Bar Latino, the illegal nightclub and a residence located at 5407 Waterpoint Drive in Browns Summit on Saturday. The North Carolina Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission (ABC Commission) suspended Bar Latino's ABC permits the same day after receiving ALE's initial investigative reports.

During the investigation law enforcement seized cocaine, MDMA, firearms and alcohol from employees and patrons of both businesses.

The following people have been charged in connection with the investigation.
