TRAFFIC ALERT New Castle County UPDATE I 95/Rt 896 Interchange Upcoming Closures
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists a daytime lane closure on northbound I-95 for electrical work (Monday through Thursday). Additionally, there will be overnight multi-lane closures and rolling roadblocks on southbound I-95 for overhead sign structure work (Monday through Wednesday, Thursday(back-up)), and an overnight lane closure on northbound Rt 896 for concrete barrier installation (Thursday).

· Monday, April 21st through Thursday, April 24th: Day time lane closure, Northbound I-95 between the Rt 896 interchange and the Welcome Center (9AM - 5PM)
· Monday, April 21st through Wednesday, April 23rd (Thursday, April 24th Backup Date): Overnight multi-lane closure and rolling roadblocks, Southbound I-95 between the Welcome Center and the Route 896 Interchange.
