WireCo announces closure of Kirksville, Mo., facility
Leawood, Kan., September 23, 2026 - WireCo®, the world's leading manufacturer of mission-critical wire rope, synthetic rope and netting, and electromechanical cable, announced today that it is closing its manufacturing facility in Kirksville, Mo., and relocating production to other North American facilities.
WireCo will phase out production activities in Kirksville by the end of 1Q 2027. This is a necessary action to ensure WireCo's long-term competitiveness in the marketplace.
