Pinellas County Animal Services is changing their hours this summer to give our customers more time to adopt on weekends.
Starting May 4, Pinellas County Animal Services will be open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. This change mainly impacts our pet food bank and adoption center, which will now open later throughout the week and close later on Saturdays.
Customers needing assistance before 11 a.m. can contact us through our customer service phone lines between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Hours for our Animal Control and Medical departments will also remain the same. Sick or injured strays will still need to be transported to local veterinary emergency clinic (Blue Pearl, Tampa Bay Veterinary Emergency Services, or VEG Clearwater or St. Pete locations).
