The participation of FM of Armenia in the meeting of the '3+3' regional platform

On October 18, 2024, upon the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan participated in the third meeting of the "3+3" regional consultative platform, held in Istanbul. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, also participated in the meeting.

On October 18, the Minister Mirzoyan participated in the ministerial meeting and delivered remarks.

On the same day, Foreign Minister of Armenia had bilateral meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Türkiyeand Iran.

The foreign ministers of the participating countries in the regional platform were received by President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Following the results of the discussions, a joint communiqué was adopted.
