A man has been arrested after a man died in Sydney's west today.
About 3.15pm (Saturday 28 December 2024) emergency services were called to Dargie Street, Mount Pritchard, following reports of an altercation outside a home.
NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and treated a man; however, he died at the scene.
While he is yet to be formally identified, he is believed to be aged in his 60s.
A 40-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Fairfield Police Station where he is assisting police with inquiries.
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command have established a crime scene and have commenced investigations into the circumstances surrounding the man's death, assisted by the State Crime Command's Homicide Squad.
