Berkeley College recently announced the appointment of Linda Mauro as Associate Vice President, Strategic Partnerships, where she will lead efforts to expand the College's international presence and strengthen global initiatives. With students from nearly 50 countries, the College offers study abroad opportunities that integrate experiential learning and a diverse academic community, set in the heart of New York City.

"At Berkeley College, we know that higher education plays a pivotal role in connecting students across borders, cultures, and industries," Mauro said. "I look forward to strengthening our international partnerships through initiatives that open doors and create meaningful learning opportunities that prepare students to succeed in an interconnected world."

In her new role, Mauro will focus on developing international study abroad programs, cultivating new institutional collaborations, and welcoming visiting students to the New York City campus. She will also work closely with Rennert International, the College's affiliate international language school, which offers ESL resources and provides a streamlined path to higher education.

Mauro holds nearly 25 years of experience in campus operations, including oversight of the Student Success, Support Services, and Enrollment Management departments, where she has focused on fostering opportunities for cultural immersion and academic exchange. She created and led the launch of the College's Designer-in-Residence program, bridging academia and industry to enhance students' experiential learning from fashion professionals. This program, now in its third year, has provided both international and domestic students with hands-on career preparation within the fashion industry through experiences such as New York Fashion Week. Recent campus initiatives have further expanded opportunities for students to engage with industry professionals and gain real-world insight into global fashion trends.
