Philadelphia, PA, June 10, 2026 - State Senator Christine Tartaglione (D-2, Philadelphia) today announced that organizations serving Philadelphia will receive grant funding through multiple programs administered by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) to support violence prevention, youth development, victim services, mental health programs, substance abuse prevention, and public safety initiatives.

The funding is expected to benefit organizations including:

  • Public Health Management Corporation ($250,000)
  • Building Our Lives Together, Inc. ($250,000)
  • Children's Hospital of Philadelphia ($250,000)
  • Philadelphia Youth Network, Inc. ($250,000)
  • Support Center for Child Advocate ($250,000)
  • The Lighthouse, Inc. ($249,992)
  • Philadelphia Children's Alliance ($100,000)
  • Support Center for Child Advocate ($100,000)
  • Rising Hope for Change ($200,000)

"These investments strengthen the organizations that work every day to keep our communities safe, support children and families, prevent violence, address substance abuse, and provide critical services to those in need," Senator Tartaglione said. "The work being done by these organizations changes lives, and I'm proud to help bring resources back to Philadelphia to support their missions."

The grants are being awarded through several PCCD-administered funding streams, including programs focused on violence and delinquency prevention, mental health services, substance abuse education and prevention, victim assistance, crisis intervention, and community-based public safety initiatives.

Senator Tartaglione noted that while some of the funded organizations may not be physically located within the 2nd Senatorial District, many provide services throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding region.

"Every dollar invested in prevention, intervention, treatment, and victim services helps build stronger and healthier communities," Tartaglione said. "These grants will help local organizations continue delivering the resources and support that Philadelphia residents depend on."
