Weekly Road Construction Update - Sept. 7 to Sept. 13

Projects Administered by Deschutes County:

Paving of Tumalo Road: Cline Falls Highway to Tumalo Place (Bend Area) - Crews will be applying asphalt pavement on Swalley Road between Tumalo Road and Twin Bridges Road, and on roadway approaches along Tumalo Road. Work will occur overnight.

Traffic Information - Road users should anticipate single-lane closures facilitated by flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes during work hours, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Thursday.

Projects Administered by Other Agencies:

Redmond Wetlands Complex (City of Redmond) - Sewer utility work will be occurring on NW Pershall Way & NW 19^th Street.

Traffic Information - NW Pershall Way will be closed to all traffic between NW 19^th Street and Northwest Way beginning Sept. 8. Road users should follow the signed detour route for the duration of the closure.

Skyliners Road / Skyline Ranch Road Intersection Closure (City of Bend) - Crews are constructing a roundabout at the intersection of Skyliners Road with Skyline Ranch Road.

Traffic Information - Skyliners Road is open to traffic. Skyline Ranch Road is open to traffic south of Skyliners Roa, but the north segment of the roundabout remains closed. A signed detour route is in place.

Inquiries pertaining to this closure should be directed to the City of Bend Transportation and Mobility Department.

U.S. 97: Terrebonne (Oregon Department of Transportation) - Crews will be doing underground utility work on 11^th Street and C Avenue.

Traffic Information - 11^th Street will be closed to all traffic for underground utility work. There may also be intermittent closures on C Avenue. Road users should follow the signed detour routes.

Lower Bridge Way remains open to traffic allowing only right-in and right-out movements. Traffic bound for U.S. 97 North should follow the signed detour route along NW 19^th Street and NW Davidson Way.

Tumalo Reservoir Road Utility Work - Crews will be doing utility work on Tumalo Reservoir Road between Bailey Road and Johnson Road.

Traffic Information - Tumalo Reservoir Road is closed to northbound traffic between Johnson Road and Bailey Road. Road users should detour via OB Riley Road, Wood Avenue and Bailey Road.

China Hat Road & FS Road 1815 Closure (US Forest Service) - China Hat Road and Forest Service Road 1815 are both closed at the USFS Boundary for forest thinning work.

Traffic Information - China Hat Road and FS Road 1815 are closed to all traffic at the end of County maintenance. Access to the area is closed until further notice.
