Easter 2026 opening times for Preston Council services
Preston City Council has published opening times for its services over the Easter bank holiday weekend, from Good Friday (3 April) to Easter Monday (6 April) 2026
The Town Hall and the Contact Centre telephone lines will be closed from 5 pm on Thursday, 02 April 2026 and will re-open at 9 am on Tuesday, 07 April 2026.
In the event of an emergency, please call our out-of-office telephone line on .
Waste and recycling
Your bin collection will not be affected over Easter. Please use our " Find Your Bin Collection Day " search tool:
Harris Museum, Art Gallery and Library
The Harris Museum is open as normal throughout Easter. Visit the Harris website and check out the Easter events.
