Route U in Wayne County Reduced for Pavement Improvements
SIKESTON - Route U in Wayne County will be reduced to one lane as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement improvements.
This section of roadway is located from Route FF and Route B near Patterson, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, May 26 through Thursday, May 28 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Flaggers and a pilot car will be in place to guide traffic.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
