15 nominees for the International Social Security Video Awards announced

The International Social Security Association (ISSA) is pleased to announce the nominees for the Awards of the International Social Security Video Festival. Altogether 15 videos have been nominated for the awards.

The video festival and awards competition are part of the World Social Security Forum, which will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 29 September-3 October 2025. It attracted an impressive level of participation, with 261 video submissions from 96 organizations across 69 countries, reflecting the global commitment to promoting social security through creative storytelling.

The competition features three award categories (Video - Short - Youth), and there are five nominees for each Award. The Awards and Nominations Certificates will be presented at a special ceremony at the World Forum. Also, all institutions that have not been nominated will be offered a Certificate of Merit.

The 15 nominees

After reviewing all the 261 videos the jury of international communication experts selected the following nominees. In addition, the jury has decided to award a special distinction for "Inclusion" to be presented at the World Forum.

Nominees in the "Video" category (1-5 minutes)

Award ceremony at the World Social Security Forum

The winners of the International Social Security Video Awards 2025 will be revealed during an award ceremony at the World Forum on Monday, 29 September. The video festival will continue throughout the week, with the screening of the videos in a cinema room at the World Forum. All the 261 videos are also available on an interactive online map where they can be filtered by region, country topic and more.
