Joint negotiations town halls planned with AFSCME on May 19
MAPE and AFSCME Council 5 are teaming up again for the 2027-2029 contract negotiations cycle. This year, the unions are planning unprecedented joint town halls to kick-off the bargaining cycle on Tuesday, May 19, at noon and 5 p.m. Be sure to add the Zoom Link to your calendar!
Negotiators are committed to closely working together this cycle and, in addition to the joint town hall meetings, are planning worksite visits, inviting other unions to join in and additional actions. Members will also be contacting their legislators and urging them to fully fund state agencies, so Minnesotans receive the services they need and deserve.
