40th anniversary of Criança Esperança

It is a joy for UNESCO to celebrate together with Globo and Brazilian society the 40 years of Criança Esperança, a successful initiative that reaches even the most remote areas of the country, supporting civil society organizations across Brazil's five regions. These projects benefit children, adolescents and young people from vulnerable communities through activities that promote education, culture, sports and citizenship. On this special evening for the program, we extend our gratitude to all those who are part of this major national mobilization, which creates opportunities, empowers people and transforms lives
