Media Advisory: Press Registration for the G20 Innovation Ministerial is Open

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Department of Commerce and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy are honored to co-host the G20 Innovation Ministerial and invite members of the media to cover the ministerial, representing over 20 countries.

WHO: Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, White House Office of Science and Technology Policy Director Michael Kratsios, and commerce and technology ministers of G20 members.

WHAT: Open press opportunities include U.S. government ministerial opening remarks, fireside chat events, a ministerial family photo, and press conference availability. A press filing room will be available.

WHEN: September 1 to September 2, 2026

WHERE: The Carolina Inn, Chapel Hill, North Carolia
