Schuler Joins Ohio Housing Finance Agency as Senior Director of Operations

COLUMBUS, OH - The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) is proud to share that Jill Schuler has joined the Agency as the senior director of operations. She will oversee the offices of Capital Markets, Facilities, Finance, Information Technology, Internal Audit, and Public Affairs. Jill brings more than 25 years of public service experience to the role.

Prior to joining OHFA, Jill served as Controlling Board president and legislative director for the Ohio Office of Budget and Management. She presided over the Board's deliberations and meetings, which reviews state expenditures and the release of appropriated funds.

Jill started her career in public service at the Ohio Senate and then moved to the Ohio Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review as the assistant director where she managed agency rule filings and ensured they matched the intent of the law. She also worked at the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Ohio Lottery Commission, Ohio Department of Health, and Ohio Department of Commerce. In each role, Jill focused on improving internal processes and customer service as well as building relationships with legislative leaders.

Jill earned her bachelor's degree in Slavic Languages and Literatures as well as her master's and doctoral degrees in Slavic Languages and Linguistics from The Ohio State University. She lives in Westerville with her husband.
