Greensboro Streetscape Project Construction Begins Next Week
On Monday, May 4, construction will start on Greensboro Avenue between University Boulevard and 7th Street, with work expected to be completed by the first home football game. This $4.3 million Elevate Tuscaloosa project is intended to strengthen pedestrian access and safety in our downtown area with wider sidewalks, landscaping, and safety improvements.
Throughout the construction process, expect road and lane closures. Pedestrian access to local businesses on Greensboro Avenue will remain open. To stay informed on construction progress and sign up for email updates, please visit tuscaloosaroads.com/Greensboro.
