Traffic Advisory Stanislaus County 11/14/25

Closures on State Routes 99, 132, and Interstate 5

Stanislaus County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct various lane and ramp closures next week on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 132 (SR-132), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 99

  • Overnight, intermittent full offramp closures on southbound SR-99 at Lander Avenue and West Main Street in Turlock for a striping operation beginning Sunday, November 16, through Friday, November 21, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

State Route 132

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control at the San Joaquin River for pavement work beginning Wednesday, November 19, through Friday, November 21, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Interstate 5

  • Long-term, full closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work.
    Note: This project is expected to continue through the spring of 2026.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
