WICHITA, KAN. - A Kansas man was sentenced to 210 months in prison for distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
According to court documents, Jordan Mark Morrison, 21, of Wichita pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of child pornography.
In 2025, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) received a cybertip about an email account that was being used to distribute CSAM. Law enforcement obtained a search warrant for the account and discovered it belonged to Morrison and included personal information like his date of birth and phone number. The defendant later admitted to using that email account to send CSAM which included a video of an adult sexually assaulting a screaming toddler.
"No punishment can fully repair the profound harm caused to victims. However, this sentence underscores the Department of Justice's enduring commitment to aggressively investigating and prosecuting those who prey on children," said U.S. Attorney Ryan A. Kriegshauser. "We remain dedicated to delivering justice for victims and preventing further exploitation."
The Kansas Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) investigated the case.
