Kirkland Represents Asian American Arts Alliance as Fiscal Sponsor for National Asian Pacific American Museum Commission

Kirkland advised Asian American Arts Alliance (A4) on a pro bono basis in connection with its engagement as the official fiscal sponsor of the Commission to Study the Potential Creation of a National Museum of Asian Pacific American History and Culture.

A4 is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City dedicated to ensuring greater opportunities for Asian American artists and cultural organizations through resource sharing, promotion and community building. The bipartisan Commission was established by Public Law 117-140 (H.R. 3525) and held a ceremonial swearing-in at the Library of Congress on June 12, 2025. It is charged with delivering a report to the President and the Congress that will lay the foundation for the possible creation of the first national museum dedicated to preserving Asian Pacific American history and culture. As the official fiscal sponsor for the Commission, A4 administrates all donations for the Commission. Updates from the Commission are available at nationalapamuseum.org.
