University of Wyoming parking permits for the 2026-27 academic year will be available for renewal for employees and board retirees beginning Wednesday, July 1.
Employees and board retirees who held active spring permits during the 2025-26 academic year may renew their permits online between July 1-10. Current waitlists have been cleared and will reopen beginning Wednesday, July 15, for those who desire to purchase different or new parking permits.
Permits for residential students will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning July 15. Parking permits for commuting students will be available Monday, Aug. 3.
To order a permit online, go to https://www.uwyo.edu/transportation. Online permit purchase options are available via credit card. Payroll deduction is available to benefited employees. Cash and check payments can be accepted at the UW Transportation Services office, located at 1602 E. Spring Creek Drive in the South Express parking lot.
Benefited employees can apply for personal reserved parking spaces. These spaces cost $1,393 per year. Reserved space holders also must purchase and hold the appropriate zone permit for the reserved parking space location. Reserved spaces are subject to availability, and they may be prioritized and assigned based on campus needs. All permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to eligibility requirements.
