City of Glendale Invites Community Input on Local Hazard Mitigation Plan
The City of Glendale invites residents, businesses, and community partners to participate in updating its Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) by providing input through a public survey and upcoming community events.
The Local Hazard Mitigation Plan is a long-term planning document that helps the City identify potential hazards and reduce risks to people, property, infrastructure, and essential services. The plan addresses a range of natural and human-caused hazards, including earthquakes, wildfires, flooding, extreme heat, and other emergency events.
Community input is an essential part of this process. Public participation helps the City better understand local concerns, identify priorities, and develop strategies that reflect the needs of the Glendale community.
