President Donald J. Trump Increases Federal Cost Share for the Native Village of Kipnuk

FEMA Administrator Cameron Hamilton announced that President Donald J. Trump made additional disaster assistance available to the Native Village of Kipnuk to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by a severe storm and flooding from August 16-18, 2024.

The President authorized the federal cost-share to be increased from 75% to 98%. The major disaster declaration made federal funding available for Public Assistance.
