Aleksandr Lukashenko makes new appointments

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko announced new appointments on 13 October.

The head of state appointed:

Denis Duk - Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus;

Sergei Shcherbakov - Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus;

Dmitry Derevinsky - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Colombia, the Republic of Panama, and the Republic of Ecuador, with concurrent accreditation;

Dmitry Krasovsky - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Uganda, with concurrent accreditation.

The President also approved the appointment of:

Aleksandr Komendant -First Vice Mayor of Minsk;

Aleksandr Novikov - Chairman of the Gomel District Executive Committee;

Vladimir Antonenko - Chairman of the Zhitkovichi District Executive Committee;

Denis Yadchenko - Chairman of the Narovlya District Executive Committee;

Nikolai Klimenok - Chairman of the Loyev District Executive Committee;

Yuri Kostolomov - Chairman of the Zelva District Executive Committee;

Andrei Gordei - Chairman of the Smorgon District Executive Committee;

Aleksandr Kurilo - Chairman of the Korelichi District Executive Committee;

Nadezhda Lazarevich - Chairperson of the Belarusian state concern for production and sale of light industry goods Bellegprom;

Tatiana Lugina - Director General of OAO Kamvol;

Andrei Soiko - Director General of OAO Belshina;

Oleg Kurilin - Director General of OAO Mogilevkhimvolokno;

Vitaly Sheleg - Director General of OAO Gomselmash;

Vladimir Mukvich - First Deputy Taxes and Duties Minister;

Olga Starovoitova - Deputy Taxes and Duties Minister;

Aleksei Stasyukevich - Deputy Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Minister;
