Kern County Elections Reminds Voters of Alternative Locations Due to Downtown Bakersfield Traffic Impacts

The Kern County Elections Division is aware of police activity impacting the downtown Bakersfield area. The County Administrative Center, located at 1115 Truxtun Avenue remains open for voting and ballot drop off.

Voters who are unable to access the County Administrative Center are reminded that they can vote or return their vote by mail ballot at any Kern County polling location or official ballot drop box. A list of polling and drop box locations is available at KernVote.com. All polling locations and ballot drop boxes will close on June 2. 2026, at 8:00 p.m.
