Graham Applauds Judiciary Committee For Advancing Sheria Clarke's Nomination To Be A U.S. District Court Judge For South Carolina

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, today celebrated the committee's advancement of Sheria Clarke's nomination to be a U.S. District Court Judge for the District of South Carolina. Ms. Clarke's nomination was reported favorably out of the committee by a vote of 15 to 7, receiving bipartisan support. Now, her nomination heads to the Senate floor for a vote. Throughout this process, Graham has strongly advocated on behalf of Clarke's nomination and remains committed to getting her confirmed by the full Senate.
