DALLAS -Starting today through Oct. 18, Dallas ISD is celebrating National School Lunch Week with the theme, "Find Your Treasure." Students will enjoy special treats, events, and activities designed to promote healthy eating habits. High school students who share feedback via their school survey about school lunch meals will be entered into a drawing for a pair of Apple AirPods.

ICYMI: Safety protocols for athletic events
Dallas ISD is enforcing updated safety protocols for district-hosted athletic events. Students attending without an adult must present and wear a school-issued ID from one of the participating schools. Students without an ID, or those from other Dallas ISD campuses or visiting schools, will only be allowed entry if accompanied by an adult.

Trustees continue Community Listening events
Dallas ISD is seeking input to help define its priorities for the next five years. Parents, students, staff, and community members are encouraged to attend one of several Community Listening Events hosted by Dallas ISD Trustees and provide additional feedback through an online survey.

This week's meetings will be held at the following locations:

• 6:30 p.m., tomorrow, Oct. 15 - W.H. Adamson High School
• 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 19 - Turney W. Leonard Governance and Training Center
