On Sunday, April 12, Congresswoman April McClain Delaney invites Montgomery County residents and surrounding communities to prioritize their health and well-being at a Community Wellness & Resource Fair at Montgomery College in Germantown.
Open to the public, this dynamic event will bring together local organizations, health care providers, and wellness experts-offering attendees direct access to valuable resources and support. Participants can take advantage of a wide range of free services, including vision screenings, blood pressure and BMI checks, diabetic retinopathy and bone density testing, spirometry, mental health screenings, one-on-one medical consultations, and more!
The event is being held in partnership with the American Diversity Group. While overall County health indicators are strong, significant disparities persist among underserved populations. Rising insurance costs as well as structural barriers like transportation and language continue to limit equitable access to care. See event flyers in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese.
