Willkie advised Garden Investments in connection with a cooperation agreement with Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. (NYSE: FBIN), a leading home, security and digital products company, and related leadership and governance updates at the company.
On March 16, Fortune Brands announced that it entered into a cooperation agreement with Garden Investments that results in the appointment of Ed Garden, founding partner and CEO of Garden Investments, to the company's board of directors. Mr. Garden will join the Board's Compensation Committee and Nominating and Governance Committee. In addition, Fortune Brands has initiated a comprehensive search process to identify a new CEO and to declassify its board of directors, among other leadership and governance changes.
