Mansfield extends its wishes for safety and warmth to all those in the path of Winter Storm Fern.
Winter Storm Fern is moving eastward, leaving a wake of ice and power outages in its wake. Over three-quarters of a million power outages have been reported, primarily impacting Tennessee, Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana. As Fern continues dropping snow and ice, more outages could be seen through tomorrow.
Fuel markets are severely constrained, with most fuel distributors off the road due to hazardous road conditions. Deliveries are being prioritized to ensure a speedy response once markets reopen. Throughout the impacted regions, local teams are regularly reassessing to determine when safe deliveries can resume. Most impacted areas will remain closed through at least Monday, and possibly Tuesday in some cases.
Mansfield has teams working around the clock to ensure emergency needs are handled throughout the United States. To report changes in demand or to speak with Mansfield's fuel delivery team, reach out to our 24/7 operations line: 1-800-695-6626.
Due to active severe weather making deliveries unsafe between today and tomorrow, many markets are effectively closed until conditions warm. Mansfield has moved markets from Texas up to New England to Code Red, requesting 72-hour notice for new deliveries. Mansfield is also moving Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky to Code Orange, requesting 48-hour notice.
