One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Calaveras County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 4 (SR-4) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

State Route 4

• One-way traffic control at Live Oak Drive for utility work on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

State Route 12

• One-way traffic control from Sierra Rose Ranch to Whelisma Railroad Crossing for tree work on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Southworth Road to Whelisma Railroad Crossing for tree work on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Whelisma Railroad Crossing to Pettinger Road for tree work on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
