Beavercreek's Parks, Recreation, and Culture Division is proud to announce that Kari Truax has joined the team as the new Senior Center Supervisor. With her expertise in recreation program management and exceptional leadership abilities, Kari is well-prepared to lead the Beavercreek Senior Center toward ongoing growth and success.
Truax holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies from Wittenberg University. Her career includes serving as the Director of the Beavercreek Christian Learning Center at Be Hope Church, a recreation supervisor with the Centerville Washington Park District, and the Assistant Director of Student Involvement at Wittenberg University. In 2023, the National Recreation and Park Association recognized her as one of their distinguished "30 Under 30" honorees, celebrating her outstanding contributions to the field.
"I am thrilled to join the Beavercreek Senior Center team," said Truax. "I look forward to building on the strong foundation already in place and working with the incredible staff and members to create an even more vibrant and welcoming community."
