Lafayette, LA - Given the imminent threat of extreme weather involving freezing temperatures and potential snow and icing of roads, Lafayette Mayor-President Monique B. Boulet has officially declared a state of emergency for Lafayette Parish this January 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM.
