International awards five scholarships to support future transportation professionals in Huntsville and Tulsa

LISLE, Ill. - June 24, 2026 - International Motors, LLC* (International) has awarded five scholarships to first-generation undergraduate students continuing their education in the areas of Huntsville, Ala., and Tulsa, Okla. Huntsville and Tulsa are home to International's powertrain plant and IC Bus's school bus plant, respectively.

The scholarship program recognizes academic achievement and supports students pursuing careers that will strengthen the transportation workforce. Each recipient will receive a one-time $10,000 scholarship to support their full-time undergraduate study.

Partnership with Scholarship America

International partnered with Scholarship America to administer the program given the organization's strong network to grow awareness about the opportunity among local colleges, universities and technical schools. Scholarship America received and reviewed 64 applications between March and April, ensuring a fair and comprehensive selection process based on the established criteria.
