On Monday, May 4, from 6-7 p.m., City of Marion representatives and the Creekside Pride committee will host an open house to share updates on the Indian Creek Master Plan and next steps for activating the creek.
It will be held at the Public Works Facility, 202 44th Street, Marion.
Information will be shared regarding summer construction at Site 1, located near Wallace Road, as well as future plans for Site 5, located near Lininger Park, and Site 6, located in Willow and Donnelly parks.
During this open house, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and share feedback, connect with project partners and committee members, explore ongoing water quality efforts and learn more about creek access, its use and future plans.
Finalized in 2022, the Indian Creek Master Plan helps to connect neighborhoods, public facilities and community amenities such as parks and trails, to Indian Creek.
