When did you know you wanted to play tennis?

"I've been playing tennis my whole life and it is an important part of me. To continue playing it during college is wonderful. I enjoy the calm tennis brings me. It's a moment when my only worry is hitting the ball across the court."

What are some of your favorite memories from your tennis career at UD so far?

"Spring break with the tennis team is always one of my favorite parts of the year as we get to enjoy the beach and play tennis at the same time."

How are you and your teammates preparing for the A-R-C Team Tournament?

"We have been working on communication tactics to work well with our doubles partners. I think we are in a great shape and mindset to go against Central this Tuesday."

What advice do you have for future Spartans who want to play tennis?

"My advice for future Spartans is to adjust your schedule according to your activities. Sometimes trying to be part of something like a team requires great time management."

Are you involved with any other activities on campus?

"Apart from being in the tennis team, I'm a Wendt Character Scholar and the president of Latinos Unidos."

In your opinion, what makes the University of Dubuque unique?

"I would say the people. How supporting both professors and coaches are makes UD an incredible place to learn and grow."
