WASHINGTON - Oct. 12, 2026 - Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) and Barrett Firearms entered a teaming agreement to produce the weapon portion of the Precision Grenadier System (PGS), a shoulder-fired, 25mm grenade launcher. Northrop Grumman is advancing PGS and accompanying ammunition development to address domestic and international customer needs.

Under this agreement, Barrett Firearms will manufacture the weapon portion and integrate the inductive setter, allowing the warfighter to program Northrop Grumman's 25mm suite of ammunition.

Working together, Northrop Grumman and Barrett bring proven expertise in both commercial and military weapons production, enabling rapid innovation and delivery to domestic and international allies. Barrett will produce the PGS weapon at their Nashville, Tennessee, facility.

Northrop Grumman's PGS is a shoulder-fired, 25mm grenade launcher providing the infantry squad with a capability to effectively defeat targets in defilade, close quarters battle as well as small, unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS).
