WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 29, 2025) - More than 100 U.S. cement industry professionals head to New Orleans, Louisiana, the first week of November to attend the American Cement Association's (ACA) 2025 Fall Meeting. The event will include individual committee meetings to update members on Capitol Hill advocacy, industry sustainability, market intelligence, and advancements in communications, including Artificial Intelligence. But a special highlight this year will be the presentation of ACA's 2025 Industry Awards. Awards to be given include the Energy and Environment Awards, Chair Safety Performance Awards, Safety Innovation Awards, and the Manufacturers' Performance Award.
"If you ask cement industry CEOs what they value most about their companies, they'll all say, unequivocally, that it's the people," said Mike Ireland, ACA President and CEO. "Every year, I look forward to shaking hands with these award winners, who travel from the typically small towns where cement plants operate. From creating initiatives that greatly improve their community's environment, to devising new systems that make their plants safer for their colleagues and visitors, these industry professionals are very deserving of special recognition."
The ACA Energy and Environment Awards recognize U.S. cement plants that demonstrate outstanding environmental and community relations efforts that go above and beyond what is required.

ACA's Safety Innovation Awards commend cement manufacturers for inspired solutions to safety and health challenges in facilities and help spread these ideas across the cement industry.
