Norton Rose Fulbright advises Davis-Standard on its acquisition of FB Balzanelli

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Davis-Standard LLC (Davis-Standard) on its acquisition of shares in FB Balzanelli S.p.A. (FB Balzanelli), an Italian company active in the manufacturing of automatic and semi-automatic coilers serving the global pipe and tube market. Davis-Standard is a global leader in extrusion equipment and services and is a portfolio company of New York-based Gamut Capital Management.

This transaction marks an important strategic step in the joint development of the companies, driving the establishment of an Italian centre of excellence for winders and drive sector innovation. The integration with Davis-Standard will therefore strengthen the group's automation capabilities and expand the range of solutions offered to the global plastic pipe market, consolidating their shared commitment to quality, efficiency and world-class production.

The transaction will be completed once it receives approval and closing conditions are met.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team was co-led by Milan-based partner Claudio Di Falco and New York-based partner and Global Head of Private Equity S. Ward Atterbury.
