Landscape Workshop Acquires Landwise Horticulture Services

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - For years, Landscape Workshop has served customers throughout the Sarasota market from neighboring locations. Today, the company announced a significant step forward in its long-term commitment to the region with the acquisition of Landwise Horticultural Services, Inc. ("Landwise"), a respected commercial landscape provider serving the Sarasota and Tampa markets. The acquisition establishes Landscape Workshop's first physical location in Sarasota, creating a stronger local presence and positioning the company for continued growth along Florida's Gulf Coast.

The acquisition represents another milestone in Landscape Workshop's long-term growth strategy, reinforcing the company's commitment to partnering with high-quality commercial landscape businesses that share its focus on service quality, operational discipline, and long-term customer relationships.

As part of the transaction, Landwise owner Steve Bonnell has joined Landscape Workshop. Employees from Landwise have also joined Landscape Workshop, ensuring continuity for customers while preserving the local knowledge that has driven the company's success.

"What stood out about Landwise wasn't just the quality of the business, it was the reputation Steve and his team have built in the Sarasota community," said J.T. Price, Chief Executive Officer of Landscape Workshop. "We've been serving customers in this market for some time, and Landwise gives us the local base we've been looking for to invest even more deeply in Sarasota. We're excited to build on what they've already created and continue providing exceptional service to customers throughout the region."

"From day one, we built Landwise on relationships and service, treating every customer's property as if it were our own," said Steve Bonnell, owner of Landwise. "Landscape Workshop shares those values, and joining them allows us to keep doing what we do best while giving our team the resources and support to continue to grow. I couldn't be more excited about what's ahead for our employees and our customers."

Legal counsel to Landscape Workshop was provided by Stuart Maxey, Butler Sparks, and Ben Glicklich of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP. David Heedy of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, served as legal counsel to Landwise. Atticus L. Frank, CFA, ABV, of Hill, Barth & King Advisors served as financial advisor to Landwise.
